Happy to say that I have lost about 4 pounds and while that may not be much I have maintained the weight loss.
I also work out everyday which has probably led to an increase in my muscle% and reduction in my fat%. Am overall happy. Am going to keep at it. There are plateaus but one just has to keep at it!

Its surprising how many girls I know are anorexic/bulimic
Yes, they are skinny and still think that they need to lose a few pounds :-/
Hmm so I have added a lot of fruit to my diet
I switched to skimmed milk
I've cut my carb intake
I eat a lot of fish and less red meat than I used to (anyway am not fond of red meat)
I cant give up the wine though (but I dont drink more than twice a week)
I still eat nuts, seeds and dates

Last weekend my friend visited and dragged me out and about for three days
So that completley ruined by weight loss targets
Am back on track and I knowww that I can do this
I also work out everyday.

More later
So far this weekend has been good
I have been invited to a brunch tomorrow but I might not go
I dont want to eat an unhealthy meal and ruin my diet.

New week

Yesterday I walked for an hour and then worked out
I checked my weight and was pleased to find that while I havent lost much there is progress
I also felt that am more toned as I have been working out

Progress

So this morning I checked my weight again
I've lost like 0.4 pounds which is not much but better than stalling. lol.
I have been walking for an hour every day lately
Yesterday I started doing some additional exercise too
But am still recovering from a small injury so I am going slow
I decided to go on a detox diet
Eating stuff like fruits the first day, vegetables the next,
Then a combination of both, etc etc
A nice way to flush the system
Today my diet went a bit haywire at dinner time.
But will be back on track tomorrow, I promise.
Ate too many peanuts and chashews!
My boyfriend thinks am mad to want to be any thinner
But I told him I have to lose 6/8 pounds - see it for myself.
Only then will I be happy.

Stalling

So my weight has stalled for the past week
I did lose about 0.4 pounds (I know that thanks to my digital scale)
Although thats not much
Waiting and watching while I carry on
Today has been a lazy and slow day
I woke up late
Had to do updates on my computer
Laundry, change sheets, cleaning
The coming week am looking forward to losing some weight
I am also joining a gym now that I have recovered from my injury
I should be meeting MM this week
That should be fun
Am looking forward to wearing the new jeans and dress I've bought
:)
I've promised myself that once I reach my goal weight
I will buy myself a pair of Miss Sixty jeans that I have been lusting after
(so for the sake of owning those jeans - I've got to get right on it)
Wish me luck!
Another 6 or 8 pounds to go
Depending where I feel I look good

Low calorie diet

So today I was re-assessing my goal
and I'd be happy if I lost 6 pounds instead of 8
That seems like a more realistic goal to me
Having set a better goal
I want to go about achieving it

I walked for about 40 minutes today and ate healthy
I have unfortunately bruised my knee and find it hard to do any vigorous exercise
So am going to wait a few days before I start any aerobic activity

I think it is fair to have one day of the week where you can eat what you want
That way you don't feel deprived
Peanut butter and toast
Eggs and Salmon
Parma ham and bread
Goat cheese salad and chocolate brownies
These are a few of my favourite things :)

No change in my weight today
I guess I have to wait till the end of this week
I went for a 45 minute walk and had a chicken soup for dinner
Some baked crisps and a date
Will weigh in again tomorrow morning
I hurt myself as I fell down :-/
It hurts quite badly so am only doing light exercise
It feels good though I have already lost 2.5 pounds
That is some encouragement
